Laughter exercises and yoga breathing can help you fight deadly disease.
Hello friends,
How have you been? I hope you have been laughing through everyday irrespective of what you are going through. Let me also remind you know that laughter is good medicine. You don’t have to feel like laughing, just laugh. This helps you deal with pain, especially when you are having health issues.
One of the things I do through my laughter exercises is to help you deal with pain that comes with disease conditions. A Heartfelt laughter causes the brain to release endorphins, a natural morphine that is also responsible for the ‘runner’s high’. A typical laughter yoga session can provide several hours of pain relief without drugs, making it easier for patients to retain full control of their mental abilities and keep their spirits high.
Laughter oxygenates the body. It gives life to it. Ten minutes of hearty laughter super-oxygenates the body and all major organs. Ongoing cancer research shows a strong relationship between oxygen in our cells and the development of cancer.
Nobel Prize winner (twice in the field of medicine) Dr Otto Warburg has shown the strong connection of oxygen in the cells. He said, we fall sick due to lack of oxygen in our body cells. The lack of oxygen is due to poor breathing habits caused by stress and negative mindset. This causes our breathing to be shallow, irregular and sometimes withheld when we are under stress.
With my laughter yoga exercises, I use a combination of laughter exercises and yoga breathing to train the diaphragm and abdominal muscles to breathe deeply. This increases the net supply of oxygen to body cells, which play a significant role in preventing cancer by increasing oxygen levels in the body cells.
